Yesterday as Kallen and I were getting an after-school snack in the kitchen, he said, "Mommy, can I pet your belly?" As he raised my shirt up and put his cheek up to my tummy, he said, "Mom, I want our baby to be a girl so she can be a princess like you and live in a castle." And as I was thinking how sweet he sounded, he added "...and wear panties!" Oh, the things that come out of a 3-year-old's mouth...so sweet, so innocent, so adorable!
And then today, Sasha was telling Kallen that we are getting a new car. Kallen comprehended this info for a while and then looked at me with a puzzled look and said, "Mom, Dad says I'm getting a new car...but I don't know how to drive!" He was so serious it was precious!

Tell that boy that most people with cars don't "know how to drive." He's probably better at it than the majority of people I encounter on the highways and byways. ;)
